Lick Fork/Horn Creek is a short 6 mile trail that follows the banks of the picturesque Horn Creek and also passes through a few old logging areas. There is a nice little campground at the trailhead too.
"From Augusta, take 1-20 east towards S. Carolina. Take exit 1 and bear left. Continue on this road for approximately 10 miles. Lick Fork entrance is on the right. Continue on park road until it appears to end. Turn right. Continue down to the lake and park on the far side. Trail goes up, starting at the lake spillway.
